Two masked criminals broke into Apple's flagship store in Palo Alto, California's Silicon Valley in broad daylight and looted electronic products worth tens of thousands of dollars in full view. Video clips of the entire robbery process have been circulated on the Internet recently, showing that when the robbery happened, the clerk told other customers in the store not to stop them, and let the thief do whatever he wanted.

The incident happened on the "Black Friday" big discount day after Thanksgiving. At that time, the store was crowded with customers who wanted to buy ordinary goods, but the two thieves broke into the store recklessly and grabbed everything they saw.

In the clip, the clerk is heard telling customers to take shelter, saying: "Stand back, sir, and let them (the gangsters) go!"
One of the customers said, "Yo, should we stop them?"

According to online media reports in Palo Alto, police are still hunting for the two robbers, who estimated that they took a total of US$35,000 (about HK$273,000) worth of goods, including iPhone smartphones.

A local police spokesman said that some shop assistants claimed to have heard threats from the thief, threatening to use violence against customers if someone stopped them. Both suspects are black and in their 20s. That flagship store has also been robbed in the past, and was robbed twice in just 24 hours on one day in 2018.
